Cluff Natural Resources

Company Overview

Cluff Natural Resources (CLNR) is a London-based and AIM-listed natural resources investing company. Its main focus is oil and gas exploration in the North Sea. CLNR has assembled a sizeable portfolio of licence interests across three of the five major North Sea production zones comprising the Southern North Sea, Central North Sea and Outer Moray Firth Basins. Assuming the exercise of options, un-risked P50 prospective resources could be around 245mm boe net. CLNR potentially has two near term drilling prospects. This includes Skerryvore which is considered by some in the petroleum industry as one of the most prospective undrilled prospects in the Central North Sea. CLNR also has also pioneered the development of underground coal gasification (UCG) in the UK. Its most advanced project at Grangemouth in Scotland has however been put on hold pending the lifting of the Scottish government’s moratorium on UCG projects.
